That used to be a sure guideline to chose speakers by
not really. a large magnet does not a good speaker make.

usually the more expensive the speaker is the higher quality... USUALLY... lol
on another note I haven't bought speakers in years so I might be blowing smoke again

If I'd had these speakers back in 1966 when I had my Malibu, I'd have been in Stereo heaven. Then again the Radios weren't as good though !!
These Pioneers have really impressed me! Construction is superb!
Crutchfield still sells them for $169, I went Amazon for $69

Again I really Thank you for the info & help
