Default Mach 460 drains battery dead

My 2001 gt convertible, Drains my battery dead in 2 days. Pulled 25 amp fuse for stereo and the draw is gone. Has anyone heard of this problem? Need to know where to start?

put the fuse back in and remove the radio unit, if the draw is still gone, time to replace the radio

Pulled the radio, put the 25 amp fuse back in, Still drains the battery dead. Are the amps hot all the time, and could one be shorted out? Heard there are 3 amps, not sure. Where to start now.

they should not be hot all the time, they should only come on when the radio is turned on. the amps are under the rear package tray, if u lay down in the trunk and look up you can see them. unplug them and check the same way you did with the radio, i beleive that there are 2

Ok, will look, as it is a convertible the trunk is damp, Heard there was a third amp under the dash to power the speakers on the doors, by the side mirrors?
Just cant understand what else that 25 amp fuse would power. It is hot when there is no key turned on?

according to the service manual there are only 2 amps, both in the rear, one runs the left and the other the right speakers for the rear, the rest of the speakers are powered by the radio itself

The coupe Mach 460 system consists of eight speakers and one subwoofer amplifier. The convertible Mach 460 system consists of eight speakers and two subwoofer amplifiers.
