Default Shaker 1000 sub to 2014 shaker upgrade

OK.. This is a weird one I know.

I have a 2005 GT with the Shaker 1000 system in it. The car has just died, beyond repair.

I am thinking of getting a used 2014 GT. However, all the ones I find just have the standard Shaker system. Not the Pro.

I was wondering if it is possible to cannibalize the sub and amps in the trunk of the old shaker 1000 system, and use that to upgrade the base shaker system in the 2014.

If it is, what would be required to do this?

Hopefully someone here might know something. I realize this question is pretty far out in left field.

For the money and time it would take to put in a better stock stereo I would just put in an aftermarket subwoofer. They are usually better and probably cheaper.

If you really want a stock system check out the shelby/kicker combo, it replaces a number of the speakers if not all of them and adds a subwoofer to the stock system.
