Default Question about 3.9L emblem

I know this might be a kind of stupid question but here goes. I just bought two of the 3.9l 3.5" emblems and I'm wondering something.

Am I supposed to replace the 40th anniversary badges on the fenders with these, are these emblems only for the back of the car? I've only seen pictures of them on the back of the car, and if so...it would be kinda stupid for me to have bought two.

Also when I take the 40th anniversary circle badges off, is there going to be a hole there? And if these are for the fenders, will these cover up any holes that it would create?

Thanks

There will be holes. They should cover up the holes. You can use them in the back or the sides. It's a matter of preference. That is why they are filled between the numbers.

I just ordered both of these to put on each side...and when I open it up, I don't see any way that it's going to cover any kind of hole that it would make...

Plus, on the receipt not only does it say decklid emblems, but it says 4.5" and I ordered 3.5"...

Grr...very dissapointed.
