custom decklid emblem for memorial?

well 2 friends of mine drowned the other day and its absolutely ripping everybody appart around here and i was wondering if

a. you think it would be distasteful

b. if not then i would like to get their names with the date and never forgotten or in memory or something

like have other people ever done it i mean. i dont wanna go around with something ment to remember them and have other people view it as something else
