Question: Do you think that Ford would create another version of the Bullitt again?

There are a lot of people (mostly the older guys) who would blow a gasket if Ford did.

I doubt they will release any more Bullitt Editions. If they do, it would only be after another significant body redesign. Maybe one edition for each generation. It is a business decision. If they feel that they can sell them and make some additional money, it might happen.

Their risk to doing so would be to lose credibility for future "limited edition" models. If buyers don't believe they will be purchasing a somewhat rare vehicle, they will not be as interested in the vehicle.

My 2 cents...

That's what I mean, a lot of people were upset when the 08/09 came out because new edge was supposed to be the only one, and when the s197 run was done Ford said it would be last time they would make a Bullitt edition. Now if they go a make another, a lot of purist, myself not included, will surely be upset.

blah. most people who bought Bullitts could care less about the heritage. hell, most don't even know the history.

I only knew about the movie and steve mcqueen because I'm a motorhead and love those old muscle cars.

Ford will likely make another one. I bought mine because of all the goodies you get vs. a normal GT, for relatively no extra charge. As you can see from my sig, I'm building on that excellent base. I've pissed some of the purists off, but my car, my money. They can hold onto their car for the next 30 yrs. I'm going to enjoy mine.

I hope Ford makes another version. I'd consider buying another one
