I generally agree with you on the larger appearance and more rounded body vs the 2001 styling. I love the fact that our cars are several hundred pound lighter as well. Weight is the enemy of everything performance related. All that being said, I'd LOVE to have one of the new 2011 5.0 GT's. A Camaro killer right out of the box, for a change!!! Very good performance in all catagories.
We Bullitt brothers are in agreement. When the 94-98 sn-95 came out, to me it seemed kinda round, when the 99-04 came out, the lines came out sharper and more appealing to me. Same with the S197 platform, the 05-09 seem too round and proky to me. The 2010-present seem to follow the same path, sharper and more appealing. I would like a camaro killer right out of the factory as our Bullitts have a hard time keeping up with ls1 f-bodies with some form of f/i.
