Default Rim Question

Got a 01 bullit, Want to put either 17x10.5 wit a 315tire on or 18x10 wit 305tire.. Now would I have a problem wit the 18in wit the 305's? what would you guys recommend?

17x10.5 with a 315 lowered looks sick. 18x10 would look good too, just make sure you get the same diameter all the way around, I can't stand the off set diameter look.

I personally went with the 17's with 315/35's because I wanted to keep a little sidewall on the tires to protect those nice new wheels, and at the dragstrip, the more sidewall you can get on a drag radial, the better.

I have the 18's and feel every little bump but either look great.
