Default Damsel in distress

I'm new to the forum and wasn't exactly sure where to post this question. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that someone may have an answer for me. I have a 2001 Mustang GT 5 speed 4.6. I am under the impression that my U- joint needs replacement. Is this uber difficult? Can I do it myself? Help. Any response is helpful.

u-joints in your drive shaft? its doable for most people. if its driveshaft u-joints then you just pull the driveshaft and pop out the clips then slip in a new u-joint
