For $500 you won't get much, but if that's all you have i'd recommend gears, and maybe some weld in mufflers. It might be a tad over that price though.

You might want to consider getting it tuned. Then maybe a cat back and/or mufflers and o/r mid pipe.

Hmmm...
Best mod for $500.

Steeda UDP and an O/R H-pipe. The stock Bullitt mufflers flow 20% better than GT mufflers already.

You really won't feel the increase in accelleration, but it might show up in Trap Speed at the track.

You would probably get the most RWHP from having a custom tune done for 93oct fuel, but with gas prices rising you may not want to run high octane fuel.

I have a high flow catted X-pipe sitting in my basement (fits the stock exhaust manifolds). Where in NC are you?

OK. I'm right at the corner of Wake, Johnston and Harnett county lines (Angier). If you might be interested in trying an X-pipe (catted with 2 high flow cats), I'd be willing to let the one in my basement go fairly cheap! Just shoot me a PM if your interested in it.
