My Bullitt was flooded during Hurricane Sandy. What should i do? Started a claim with insurance. Car is dead. Tried jumping it. Some lights go on but its pretty much done. Insurance says its a biohazard and will be crushed. No option to buy it back.

sounds like thats the plan then if its theirs and they will cut you a check start looking for something new best of luck... welcome to mustang forums

the car will not be crushed. They will get money for it at a salvage auction. But I don't think the choice will be yours. I'm sorry for your loss. Be happy with an insurance check though, they usually give you close to book value which is more than you'd get selling it outright. Time for a new stang!

Start taking parts off, they are worth alot of money since not many were made.

I just got an 01 Bullitt and they really grow on you. It has to be hard to see it go. The guys that say that Bullitts are only a GT don't know because they don't have one. I started looking for a GT silver and I pulled the trigger on my green one and I am glad I did. If you can get it back do it.
