Default Exhaust systems for 2000 mustang gt help??

I recently purchased the pypes Violators they sound way better than stock but I thought they would be louder is it cuz they're not broken in yet? If so how long until there broken in and will they be noticeably louder ? If they don't get louder could I get an after market h pipe or x pipe to increase the sound and would they fit with my pypes violator exhaust? Anybody have any recommendations for an x pipe or h pipe that'll fit my pypes violator exhaust?

installing an off-road H-pipe (no cat's) increases the exhaust noise considerably. But, makes the car near impossible to smog. Most of my critics favor the deeper throaty tone.. that is, most anyone who doesnt live next to you.
