Advice on selling
Mustang gurus,
I'm new to the forum and looking to sell my 2000 GT convertible. The forum appears to require frequent posts to be allowed to post an add. I had the car listed with autotrader for 6 months and had no luck. Got my money back. Lots of flakes looking for something for nothing. I'd appreciate any advice about the best way to sell the car for what it's worth - no sentimental value. Services, shows, meets, consignment, carmax, etc. Original owner, 65k miles, every option, excellent condition. I'm right here in Hermosa Beach. Air Force officer-owned.
Thanks!

Quite honestly, autotrader is where I've had the most luck, buy the premium package, have lots of good clean pics, and price it fairly, check craigslist an edmunds for pricing, any upgrades you have are pretty much worthless when selling.
Car shows where you are allowed to have for sale signs (some shows ban it, or charge extra to allow you to) are also a good place if your car is in "show" condition.
Anyway, good luck with the sale.

Like Dan said autotrader, ebay (thats were I bout my 95), CL. You can post a for sale on this website (in the Cars for sale area) but you must have 50 posts first. SO go get some posts and see what happens.
Good luck.
