there is this stuff .....i would have to see the comerical again to get the name but you put it in your gas and maybe your oil and it makes it so it doesn't get all gocky and get your lines and other things cloged...i will look for the commerical and get the name of it...i think that would be a good idea to do...also dont' leave less than like 1/2 a tank of gas in there because the gass might get the lines really ****ed up ....thats what i have heard atleast

stabil is the product you are thinking of.
I would make sure your coolant is good, you dont want to crack the block(if it gets cold where you live).

i just put extra antifreeze in it and start it up for 20-25 mins every 2-3 weeks. i also roll it about half a foot just to avoid flat spots in the tires.

With fuel these days it is not important to put stabil in it unless you have to burn premium (SC'd engines crotch rockets etc.). If you plan on Starting your car every 2-3 weeks, then plug it in the night before, let it warm up and then start it about dinner time the next day. As for your tires rolling it about 1/2 turn would be just fine, but I wouldn't worry about getting flat spots if they are decent tires. The compounds used today are not likely to mould and form to the pavement over time. Don't get me wrong leaving it for and entire year might, but for 4-6 months it won't. Make sure that you have no holes into your cab or mice will make a little home of your car, so make sure the firewall is good and sound, and anywhere else you can think. Another good thing to do would be to put a box of Baking soda into the cab. It will absorb moisture and any stagnent smells that accumulate over time. Dont' worry about the oil, just change it in spring.

I have had my babies to rest for about 3 weeks not.....ugh the winter will be long. [&:]

I put mine away mid Nov, I put it up on axel stands , toss some fuel stabilizer in a full tank of gas, check my fluids, disconnect the battery, and put on a decent car cover. In my gage of course, keep it away from the elements.

For gawd sakes, THOROUGHLY, WASH AND POLISH CHROME WHEELS BEFORE STORING (if you have em). I also stuff my exaust and underhood with laundry dryer sheets to keep critters out (my car sits in a carport under a cover).
