Yeah most likely, I'm always driving around campus. You go to State?

Default Advice on repairing head gasket

I have an '03 cobra with a head gasket issue. Anyone have any experience with getting a repair like this done in the Raleigh area? Haven't lived here too long and just don't know who will do a good job.

Check out Piedmont Custom Motorsports in North Raleigh, one of the guys that run it is the son of one of our members. Here's the website:
http://www.piedmontcustommotorsports.com/
They host dyno days there for the club every once in a while, too.

I've read some pretty nasty reviews on Piedmont, whats your take on it. I try to take reviews with a grain of salt.

From what I understand there was an issue with one of the owners once upon a time. That guy is gone now but the bad taste he left lingers for a while.

I've seen some of the work they do and it looks good to me. Of course to get an accurate assessment you would have to take the number of negative reviews and compare it with the number of cars/jobs they've done to see what kind of percentages there are. People who are happy with their cars don't generally write reviews, they're too busy driving.

The best thing you can do...and this applies to any shop...is to go and talk to them and take a look around to see what kind of work they do.
