Hi, new guy checking in...

OK, not really, but I haven't been around for a while. Mrs Hades is keeping me busy, between her and work there isn't much time for car stuff. We, too, plan on getting to Lenoir again a couple of times this summer. It helps that there is a knitting store there.

Busy. Mary has me remodeling the master bath. She didn't like the tub that was there and she wanted a bigger shower, so...

Next step after the shower is complete is to tear out the old shower and put in a tub that she likes.

But...Eldest Son moved out (finally) so I got my train room back! So I'm in the process of cleaning and painting it. In the meantime, in the most blatant land grab in model railroading history, Mary threw my trains out of her "closet" ("bonus room" off the master bedroom). Call it incentive to get their new home finished quicker.

Larry, what kind of trains do you have?
I have a ton of HO stuff from the 70s and 80s and a full set of American Flyer trains that my Dad gave me. They were his when he was young. He has a working oil rig and vehicle crossing along with a few other pieces.

had to sell the stang needed a truck..... kinda hard to pull a trailer, drive around kids, and carry a load of mulch with the stang. I hate having to be practical. I hope the new owner has as much fun as i had with her.

a little sad now.

its a 2017 tacoma double cab 4x4 in blazing blue with a 3.5. no i won't help people move unless libations and pizza is involved.

N mostly, a little bit of Z and a little bit of HO. My uncle had American Flyer, when I was just a little guy he and I set it up in Grandma's living room for Christmas on year and played trains all day. I don't know who has it now but I suspect one of his grandsons has a heck of a train set.
