Or..and most people don't realize this..the VW Beetle Convertible was built by Karmann.



I owned and operated a shop for 3 years for aircooled VW's.

BTW....the 1971 Karmann Ghia Convertible is on my list of favorite cars.
It has the 63 HP 1600 Dual Port engine...oh yeah.

That's the one. I did know that the vert was built there. Will probably be some time before we do anything. I would like a project, but most of the cars I've looked at are mostly done, and are pretty inexpensive.
