We all know how the Buffalo area is being hit with snow and they call me and give me a delivery in Niagara Falls NY..WTF!!!!!!!!
I have to leave Saturday for an anytime delivery on Sunday. They will be lucky if I make it anytime on Sunday.
Just venting a little..carry on...that is all.
Oh its been a whole string of stupid people here lately..
Here's a good one.
I have a delivery at a company in Seagrove TX at 1 pm. I arrive 30 minutes before my appt. I call the guard house from the gate and tell them who I am etc. They refuse to let me in and tell me to vacate the property for 30 minutes.
I say "fine, but I need to turn around". nope..no entry to the plant so the rent a cop tells me to back out into the street and leave.
So now this is what he expects me to do. Back across 2 rail road tracks and onto a 4 lane 75 mph highway with a load of Glacial Acetic Acid. I refuse. He calls the cops.
Officer arrives and approaches the door with his gun drawn and demands for me to get out of the truck.
Rent a cop has called and said I am being "difficult and refusing to leave the property".
I explain the situation to the officer who is pretty pissed. He says he would have given me a ticket if I HAD tried to back out onto the road and tells rent a cop that he is an idiot. He tells me I did the right thing, it wouldnt be safe etc. Like I didn't know that.
By this time it is 5 minutes to my appt and rent a cop says "Oh its appt time come on in"
People are stupid.
