When I as in school, we had to walk even if it was snowing. It was up hill and into the wind both ways. We didn't have shoes, so we had to wrap our feet in bread bags. We also wrapped our feet in barb wire so we could get traction. I used to carry a baked potato in my pocket to keep me warm, but I didn't get to eat it, I had to reheat it for the next day.

Good lord, now you sound like Steve (Shohorse). You're turning into a Carolina boy more and more Chris. LOL!
It's supposed to be in the 40's here tomorrow.

I'm afraid that we all check the forum, waiting for someone else to post. That way it doesn't look like we are completely wasting our morning.
I only had one thing planned for the day, was going to take a look at some wheat fields. Now the wind is up around 30 mph, not sure I want to drive around in it. Maybe after lunch.

I might take you up on that in a couple of years but right now we want my stepson to graduate high school and get him off to college. Plus her parents are getting up there in age which is why I think the moved so close to us.
My son would love it!

I hear you. I wouldn't want to take my kids out of school to move either.
