Ok, as of right now, the efforts to find Daniela a Mustang have possibly come down to (after missing out on two other ones) one of these two. We're probably going to try to offer $24k for both of these and whichever dealer accepts may make her decision for her, but she really can't decide right now between the two of these if the price doesn't do it for her. I am on here wondering which one you guys would pick and why. This completely unofficial (and unsolicited by her) survey may or may not be used to help her decide.
Car #1
Car #2
For Car #1, she wasn't really considering a convertible because she likes the looks of the hardtop better, but she LOVES the sun and this car is LOADED (nav, 401a interior package, heated seats, Brembo package, etc). She wanted a '13/'14 because she likes the looks of them slightly better, but this car seems to be a great deal. Her first Mustang was a Performance Red 2000 GT convertible so she's had experience with convertibles before.
For Car #2, she really wanted Race Red, but she loves the look of the Dark Sterling Gray as long as it has stripes on it, which this one does. Also, this car is essentially brand new with 3,200 miles on it. She did make me make them an offer the other day of $23,000 and they came back saying that since they just reduced it, they wouldn't take less than $25,000 for now. But we're hoping maybe they'd consider $24,000 since the car is in Columbus, Ohio and might sit on their lot a couple more months until the weather breaks.
Both cars will be about a 7 hour drive to get to. Both cars have heated seats, which is a highly desirable option for her. Both cars are low-mileage but the DSG car still has over a year of the bumper-to-bumper warranty left along with the power train warranty where as the convertible just has some of the power train warranty left. Both have completely clean CarFax reports as well.
