I worked in a bodyshop in PA. You had to scraped 1/4" of rubberized or tar like undercoat off before you could even begin figuring out where the good metal was.

YEAH, That's a period of my past I'd like to forget. LOL.

Spent a week under a Volvo scraping, cutting patches, welding them in and then spraying rattle can undercoating over it.

jeff you have seen the stroker ,I think a nice repaint would do the job ,would not mind changing the front and rear bumpers ,but I do have garage spray gun and compressor ,BEER ,FOOD and have spent time in body shop as pre paint prep man (fancy for sander) so maybe ?

Just had an expensive lunch at work. Cost me $212. Well, lunch was free but I ordered the RTR rear deck lid piece that's about to finally come in.
