Kim and I went on a small vacation. Trying to save for the new house and all...

We went to Birmingham AL to the Barber Motorsports Museum and Raceway first.
If you are into motorcycles this place is awesome. And a couple of pics for the local Duc fanclub(JJ..lol)

It is also the home of Barber raceway.

Then we went to the Southern Museum of Flight...well..lets just say I'm glad it was only 7 bucks.

After that it was a place called the "Sloss Furnace". Kim found this one and I had never heard of it. It was a Steel Mill back in the 1800s through 1970 and is now a national landmark. But it is renowned for being haunted apparently. It has been featured on several Ghost Hunters shows and "scariest places on earth". I, of course, had no clue and just wandered around and messed with lots of stuff I probably shouldn't have.

After that it was up to Chattanooga to the Tennessee Aquarium. It is another aquarium with lots of fish so I'm not going to post a bunch of pics.

In the second picture, dogs with security staff? Wow, that tells you how many dollars worth of iron they have sitting there.
I've seen Sloss furnace on TV, looks cool.
