Wasn't really that bad, but I missed the trees and hills here...plus the 1.5 hour drive to the beach.
I did exactly that one time when it was something like -10 or -20 in blizzard conditions. Also been out there when it was 120 in the summer. That place gets such extremes of weather. I do like it much more here but for some reason I miss it sometimes.
