The Snake looks awesome. I'm in agreement with the Robbinsville stay rather than Murphy, it was too far away and another run on Sunday AM would be awesome. I'm checking into some places for a meet here in Raleigh, late March would work out well. Don't forget the Roanoke/Blue Ridge Parkway meet that has been discussed elsewhere, I think that is planned for June. I'm still planning on checking with VIR for a possible track day, let me get through the holidays (Jacksonville FL in early Jan) and I'll get on that. Looks like a busy and fun year being planned.

OK guys, I heard from Robbie. The SVT Cobra Club already has two track days planned at VIR, 1/28-29 and 5/25-27. Here is a link to the events http://www.svtcobraclub.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=18671. It appears the cost is $175 for one day, $295 for two. Here is the link to Track Club USA, you need to join to get access to these track days. http://www.trackclubusa.com/

They also have a Pro-Dyno day planned for 2/25. We could plan on going to that and then finding a good place to eat in the area. We could maybe make it a Tilted Kilt round 3.

And, the SVT Cobra Club has a NC mountain cruise planned for 3/24. I am sure the Snake will be part of that cruise. This cruise leaves from Hickory. I can get map and details from Robbie if anyone is interested. I think I will try to join them, it seems they had 7 cars last time.

I have ridden the Snake on the Harley; great road. I like it better than the Dragon, much less traffic and law enforcement to worry about. Should be a great drive in a Mustang

I would be in for the SC meet at greenville. Track days are up in the air at this moment. I looked at Kershaw pricing and it was comparable to VIR. Only issue with VIR is the price(295 track fee +150 gas+ hotel), same problem for anyone coming to Kershaw from NC. The BMW plant in greenville has a test track for their driving school (700+ a day) but as far as I know they only allow BMW cars that are provided in the high dollar price tag. Anyone know differently? I might give them a call to see if a group could rent the track or piggyback off of a current event. They have a wet and dry skidpad that would be fun.

Definitely planning on TOD this spring though.

Hey Alan,

The Pro Dyno day sounds good. Maybe that can substitute for the Greenville meet since it might closer for most of the crew. Actually they all sound terrific. Hopefully I can make some of these, but work will be really busy January, February and March. I never know when I'll be required to work the weekend.

That video looked great. I would definitely be in for the Snake! Alan, you can pencil me in for the 3/24 mountain run! This calendar is really shaping up good. Can't wait!

Alan...Barring a catastrophe, should be good to go for The Dragon (X2), The Snake, The Diamondback, Raleigh, Greenville, Pro Dyno ( If we do this I could hook us up at the Kilt again) and Mustang Week.

Are there any more details on the pro dyno tag along event? I would also go to that.
