I agree, we should go for the Hero 2. Here is an ebay link for 225 plus 15 shipping if we have the winning bid.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/GoPro-HD-HER...a192454c7#rwid

Do we want to move on this?

Seller has a feedback rating of only 10, and has only been on eBay since just before Christmas, I know the starting price is attractive, but I'd be a little cautious, especially considering his prior sales have all been Outback restaurant employee pins. Not likely an authorized GoPro dealer, and that may cause warranty issues (says the guy that had to send 2 HD Heros back to GoPro before getting one where the audio didn't buzz like angry hornets were living inside)

These Massachusetts MF'ers are all over our threads!

But of course, we're glad to have ya'll! Thanks for the insight on that one. I think we need to get it from an authorized dealer for the warranty alone. That one went for 250...for 8 bucks a person, we could have the warranty and everything, seems reasonable to me. Just have to see what everyone is in for. I don't want to speak for everyone and say that we can all put in $50...hell, I don't know if I can at this point in time. I need to look at my financial situation and see what I can do.

Got that right. I'm a transplant from NY where I spent most of my 48 years. Here in SC I bought a 38 special (legally I might add) and brought it home the same day with 100 rounds of ammo. You can't do that in NY.

Oh, and I forgot the fireworks. I light up my neighborhood every forth.

Sorry for getting off topic in the thread... Whoops.

Paul, you better get here before we secede - once that happens the border (Mason-Dixon) will be closed. Be sure to bring the sweet red beast you are driving.

Now, back on topic.

Not quite on topic yet....I'm from NC, where fireworks are still illegal (except S&S, which in reality is just as dangerous as aerial explosives), and my way around it is working for a professional pyrotechnics crew. Being a legal pyro is great...I just wish the state would understand that celebrating and arson are two completely different things.
