That's about right for the labor. Between $500-$600 for parts and labor.

The install of gears is pretty tough. You have to make sure everything is shimmed and installed properly or you can experience a wine. Which would eventually bother you enough to take it back apart!

I would recommend taking it to a shop as well unless you've done this before. When placing the order for gears, you will need the Ring & Pinion Gears, Installation Kit, Gear oil and for 2010+ 8.8 rears you'll need the Rear Pinion Bearing!

I hope this helps. You'll love the new torque and acceleration of your Mustang once you get these installed! Let me know if you have any questions, Our Mustang Experts are here Monday-Friday from 9AM-9PM EST and Saturdays from 9AM-5:30PM EST. If you want to hit them up, their number is 866.727.1266.

Didn't see it listed in the mods in your sig HT, but you will need a tuner to correct the speedometer. The car will run fine without it, but your speedometer will read a lot faster than the speed you are actually going.

Yeah I need to get a tuner. I could live without it though, because I could just re-calibrate my Magden for the new ratio. That thing is insane. It does all the calculations for tire size, gear ratio, etc. in real time and displays the correct speed. It would be annoying to deal with the speedometer being wrong though. I need a CAI and Tuner though, just pretty expensive for the actual physical components of those items ($650ish). Thanks for the heads up though.

I appreciate all the help everyone.
