Steve, I hear you..I really do. I'm going to get my short throw first and see how fast I can get on DOT's. For wheels I was thinking about 18's instead of going down to 15's. (If I get wheels) I do like the WOT box though.

Alan, I think you need to get hankooks. I've heard a lot of people saying the same thing about the F1's.

Good thing is you have a Shelby, you really don't need much.

They don't have the stock sizes, I would have to find another size. Stock sizes are -
(Front) P265/40ZR19
(Rear) P285/35ZR20

I kow you want to go as fast as possible on street tires, I was the same way in my car when I first started taking it to the track. When it was making 530ish rwhp I went to the track one day and made a pass just like normal, and at the top of second gear I lost traction and almost hit the wall. I was being very careful (I thought) and as soon as it spun I got off the throttle, but it still slid over and almost left a nice red stripe on the concrete wall. That afternoon I went home and ordered some drag radials... Best money I ever spent. I am just saying BE CAREFUL man!! Thats a lot of power to be pedaling on an already slippery track, and if it breaks loose down track it doesn't take a blink of an eye for it to get out of shape. Your car is WAAAYYYY too nice to see it get messed up!

If you eventually go with an 18" drag radial, go with the M&H 305/45/18. It is the right height and right compound to hook you car. A 15" would work better, but the M&Hs are the BEST as far as 18" sizes go.

I have Hankooks on mine and I really like them. They actually hook pretty well too.

I like the Hankooks that I put on my car so far. I made it through the monsoon season so far. LOL.

Looks like you just gave me the perfect excuse to get another set of wheels. No one out ranks "General Safety".

The reason I would like to stay with the 18's is so I don't have to get the ReLo brackets and when I don brakes I want to do all four corners and 15's won't work.

Thanks again Steve.
