Yeah, excited to see the Lightning all done. Boss was fun while it lasted. I'm going to be car-less until I get back to the states. Dan is going to pick up the 15, we have a lot of plans for that... should be fun. I might pick up another make and model... JJ knows what I'm looking at Also talking to Roush.

offroadsc.com is another good forum. Good group of local Carolina guys that are eager to help out, and love to have trail run get-togethers. (Former TJ owner myself)

Jeff... you sold the New Edge?!?!?! Now I'm really the black sheep lol.

I'll give you a hint..Bantam Car Company.

I gotta find the pictures of the 79 Wagoneer and the 97 TJ and the 98 TJ and the 3 CJ'7s
Bantam was the original creator of the Jeep if I remember right.

That's looks like fun to me! I can't wait to throw Jen in the Jeep and hit a trail like that. Her face is going to be priceless. Now I just have to find the right Jeep.

I think there's an NC offroad group too that hits Uwharrie alot.

Yep, sorry man, time for a change.

I emailed the guy with the Black one in Canton, he said that it is still for sale. I asked for more pics and he never replied. I'm thinking that since I gave him my cell # he thinks I'm wasting his time since I'm so far away?

http://www.m201.com/bantam.htm

Butler PA is where the Bantam company was located and the locals still feel as though they got screwed on that deal..although a few years ago Butler was the site of the largest Jeep parade in history.

The one in the pic is a 99 TJ Sport. I bought it late March of 99 and that picture was taken Easter weekend of 99..it had about 2000 miles on it since I drove it off the showroom floor..It's a Jeep!!!!
To not take it off road would be like never modding a Mustang..it just ain't right.

Did either of your TJ's have the 4cyl? There are so many of them for sale.

I had 3 TJs. .The first one had the 4 and I would not recommend it. Don't forget that the newer ones have a v6. The 4.0 in line 6 is the best imo.
The 99 was great. Even with 30×10.50s it had plenty of power. I used to pull a 18 foot tri hull boat with it all the time.
