Haha, I thought I knew death wobble until I rode in my friend's trail rig. That thing could barely even handle the access roads!

Shouldn't be since he'll be installing it right. The one I took it off of wouldn't go over 50 without trying to kill the passengers.

installing right will help eliminate any user caused wobble but changing the angle of steering parts by lifting will make any worn parts far more obvious which can result in wobble.

its no big deal just fix whats causing it before the wobble damages other parts.

usually its the trac bar steering linkage or ball joints from my experience

I ordered a Teraflex adjustable front track bar. I've also greased and inspected all of the ball joints/ tie-rod ends so hopefully I won't have any issues.

God, I hope that taking my time and doing it right will avoid all of that.

Well, keep your fingers crossed for me. LOL.

Started working on the rear end tonight since the front trackbar isn't supposed to show up until Friday.

I really had to pile up some blocks to get the back tires off the ground. LOL.

Got the shocks off, and the trackbar off. Man I miss Mustang suspension!!!

I got one spring off and decided that I'd had enough fun for one night. left the rearend on jackstands and came upstairs.

pics...

The rear coil spring spacers were completely gone, I can see where the tires have been rubbing the tub.

Here's how it looked when I left this morning...

Wish my garage was that big. Taking it off was quite cramped.

I mowed the grass before I started on the Jeep last night too. I think I'm going to take tonight off and hang with Jen. I've been in the garage every night this week.

I wish I had moved it to the other side of the garage though, drivers side of the Jeep is like 2' from the wall.

I am about 99% sure that I'll be removing the body lift. With the back jacked up and the Jeep about level, the door sill is at my hip. Jen will be really unhappy about having to scramble in and out.
