Gotta love the full time awd systems. Good luck Larry, i still wand a subie though, just dont have a reason till the kia quits (70k, still got a while) or i find one super cheap. The transfer case in grand cherokees can only tolerate 3/32 difference according to specs, not sure on b the wranglers. Glad mine hasn't done this. Matt's jeep (BiL) has about 2/32 on the front and new tires on the back. When I found that out I warned him just in case, but he might not have listened.

I love my little trucklet and have no idea what I will replace it with on the sad day that I decide I'm done messing around with it. They are good cars, they just cost an arm, a leg and a mortgage on your firstborn to fix them when they do break. Fortunately they don't do that very much.

I'm sure that I will feel much better when it's down off the jack stands and I'm driving it again.

Damn. Time to by her a smart car. I mean how much damage could one of those do?

They may not weigh much, but they appear to be tough.

A former neighbor backed through two garage doors in less than a month. Still don't understand how she did it.

Smart car is perfectly safe standing still with an suv on its roof. Dynamic forces well exceed 3.5 tons as is evidence of the wrecks that have happened. Not that other cars fare much better but they at least have crumple zones, get about the same gas mileage, and don't cost as much as Larry has spent on Subaru parts.

Ford did that commercial about the body mounting bolts for the truck bed. Lifting a truck by those was completely pointless in their function, but I'm certain it sold better.

Just got a header for the Subi. What the hell, if I'm going to spend a lot of cash on it I might as well get something totally unnecessary just for fun. I wonder if I can get one of my stock GT mufflers to bolt up to it next...hmmm...

An official declaration has been made for me to stop dismantling the truck because it is staying put.

Larry we can make it work.
