Maybe I can make some money at it. I think Subaru gets all of their post-sale cash from parts sales though, they certainly get enough for them.

Still stock behind the header, but it does add a bit of throat to it. So far I'm liking it but the extra noise a bit is hard to get used to, especially when it pops as it slows down. It's never done that before, of course, so I'm just waiting for something to break whenever I hear something new.

Axlebacks for the damn thing are $850 and there's only one of them, another $100 gets you the cat-back, and for a measly 650 more you can get the cat to go with it.

When it does need new exhaust though it's gonna be tempting to put it all on (until I look at the price tags again).

Still not as fun as the 'stang.

A little research and down to the parts store I went to get a smaller diameter (longer length so overall volume the same) oil filter for the turbo engines, that fixes the clearance problems, and some RTV to put the transfer case back together. The new bearings had already been pressed on the shafts in the transfer case, so I slid in the last remaining bearing taper, bolted the back cover with the shafts installed back on and then bolted the shifter up. About the time I was finishing that up Chris's girlfriend showed up so I cleaned up for the night.

Good work Larry.

Larry get on youtube and look up Baja from hell.

This poor ol 165K mile motor probably wouldn't like much PSI.

But damn that would be fun. I've seen a few vids of turbo'd Jeeps.

What a great time to pick up a CL engine and start building your stroker then.
