What are you working on?

Oil change yesterday, I use the jack to put the car up since I can't get the ramps under the car. As I'm lifting the car I check the jack placement...and I'm on the oil pan.
Fortunately, no leaks and the oil pressure remains steady even under hard acceleration and throwing it into the curves, so I think the pickup is OK, but I am going to want to change that dented pan at some point. It looks like a real b!csh to get that pan off, the easiest way seems to be to drop the K member. Maybe a replacement when it gets done??? always something, isn't there.
Oh yeah, and after that I needed tires, so it's a good thing I have an extra account I keep just for that purpose. It's empty now, so I'll have to fill it back up. I was hoping to have another month or so on those tires, but the trip to FL pretty much put an end to that idea. Oh well.
Strut mounts on the Scoobytruck, now the pulling problem is gone. I found an exhaust gasket leaking which I understand could be a source for my O2 sensor code, so that's next on the agenda. I hope that does it, I really don't want to pull and wrap that header. The sound of the header still makes me smile every time I fire it up.
Things with wheels are so much fun...

Clint, the thing about Subaru is they don't break often, take a gander at the import section of your local junkyard and you won't see many that aren't smashed all to hell. The problem with them is they are expensive to fix when they do need it. Of course this last round, especially with the front end work, was all self-inflicted pain since it was the center drive causing all my problems all along. The newer Scoobys have a completely different system IIRC.
