Lesson learned today {The hard way of course . . . }

Never, never, never, hang a tool up in the garage if there could be any change of it falling onto your car. I had a weed eater fall from a shelf today and smack my hood. Three dents, paint gone, you get the idea.

Will get it repainted in two weeks. Uggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg #***#*@*@*#

Oh man, I cringed just knowing what you were going to say next when you said hang a tool up. Sorry to hear about that. Hope no women or children were around to hear the inevitable shower of four letter words that followed that!

I'd say at least it fell on your car and not on your head, but I think there's more than a few of us who might take the injury to save our cars, haha.

Getting another estimate this morning.

Repainting the hood and may have to leave off the CS stripes to save a couple of hundred dollars. They must be made of "gold".

Maybe this will cheer you up. Nearly the same thing happened to me the other day. Except I hung up a motorcycle helmet. And it DID hit my head instead of my car. Fell right off the hook while I wasn't looking. The irony was painful.

Sorry Larry, I can only imagine how you feel. A co-worker did the same thing to his Fusion, only it was three paint cans.

That's why I took all the shelves out of my garage and the only thing that hangs is in the corner away from the cars.
