Even if you kept the pirellis the bigger tire makes such a huge difference it's hard to compare. Why not 285s though?
2 reasons:
1.) I've read conflicting things about whether or not is have rubbing issues up front with 285's and my 10" rim
2.) Cost. I wasn't really in a position to buy these tires when I did, but after spinning the tires in 3rd gear under "normal" acceleration a few mornings when it was in the 20°'s, I couldn't leave those summer only tires on our daily driver for winter.
