Working on the Scooby again today. It's had a problem where it pulls to the last direction it was turned, IE it pulls left after turning left and right after turning right, turns made less than 20 mph and more than 1/2 turn of the wheel. I found a bad strut mount on the right side and thought that was it, changed both strut mounts and it was still doing it. I put it on jackstands and checked it again and...the brand-new left strut mount is binding now.

So I ordered it, it was supposed to be in yesterday...no. It should be in this morning so I'll be dodging raindrops to put it in today. I'm hopeful that this will end the saga of the Scoobytruck...at least for another 25K miles or so when I'll have to put a timing belt in at 210K...and I'll actually be able to drive it for a while instead of the 'stang.

Can someone please explain to me how "timing belt" got to be a link to Ebay? Or how "Ebay" got to be a link to Ebay as well? I've never seen that before.

Timing belt, slightly used, was working when pulled.

Just finished sanding all the plaster from filling holes, re-caulked around the counters and now getting ready to paint.

We installed some 8' lights and wall shelves in Steve's garage, man that was bright. JJ glad you're making progress but I still find it hard to believe it's happening.

Larry a question for ya. Steve's impreza is making a roaring noise from the rear drivetrain, anything you've encountered on the trucklet? I'm guessing something is out of whack on the gear setup (factory set) but I haven't looked at it yet to see if it's something more obvious.

Well that doesn't sound like you, tearing up dirt roads at 80+ in a 400 rwhp mustang, what is a bit of ice after that?

Literally 750 miles of this. Cars and Trucks wrecks and off the road everywhere. Except of course, when it was zero visibility. I really don't know what the hell we were thinking.

I would have to agree, what were you thinking? Crazy weather, glad you and the crew made it home safely.
