I did these about an hour ago.
I did some glossifier on these stripes. It doesn't really create a glossy finish per se but more of a satin look.
Temporary tag in the windshield looks goofy but I had to move it from the rear window after the tint.
Now to get rid of that wheel gap. I see the Koni's are on sale atm

Todd was saying they have a clear coat available that is more effective than the glossifier. Might give it a shot.

My dad, our cousin and I pulled the engine in Lola this week, repainting it the correct color. Somewhere along the way someone painted the engine Ford blue, the 65's were black block with gold air cleaner and valve covers. Someone had put a Ford racing distributor cap and huge plug wires on it, that had to go as well.

I was really pleased to see how clean the engine was inside. She was running good so we didn't do anything other than a tune up. My dad is going to rebuild the carb this week and we hope to get her home when I get back from traveling.

The AC unit is big and bulky on the early cars and it takes huge brackets/braces that interfere with seemingly everything. Getting that and the PS back in place was a beast.

I also detailed the engine bay, stripping off the cracked paint and repainting everything.

I still have several decals to add, some touch up paint to go but overall I am quite pleased with the outcome.
