Nice work Alan. Simplifies everything, you won't regret it.

Still thinking about carrying everyday guys. So I'm looking for advice. Three choices:

1: Glock 19. Reliable, big capacity, reliable, I shoot it pretty well .
2: 1911. Proven, but lots of moving parts for a sometimes REALLY dirty and dusty environ.
3: Walther PPK. Reliable, less moving parts, less proven?, smaller and easier to conceal.

All three would be carried in a Crossbreed Supertuck. Any thoughts?

I have a SW4566, big to carry. I have a Ruger SR22, nice size but not enough stopping power, actually got it for Deb. I have a Ruger LCP380, great pocket weapon but so small it's not very accurate. So, I just bought this...

My dad carries a Beretta px4 9mm. Fit's nicely in my hand but I've never shot it. Subcompact so it's not like an lcp or other micro pistol.

I've got a ruger sr9, slim design and nice to shoot but on the larger side. The sr9c is about .5" shorter and has a 10 round mag instead of the 17 that's normal.

I carry a Taurus .40. I like it. It has served me well over the years.
It is a "grey area" carrying in a truck.
Most customers have the big "no firearms" sign as you go in the gate. And my company says "No firearms in the truck" but...
Have they ever had to sleep in the Bronx NY on the street in front of a plant? How about downtown Chicago? L.A.?
If I have to use it I will deal with the company and their consequences.

Wife's got a Springfield Armory XDs in .45 that's a small package, only carries 5 in the standard magazine, you can get a 7 rounder. I have a SA 1911 lightweight champion operator that's a real nice carry gun and also an H&K USP compact in .40. Of my two carry weapons the H&K usually stays in the car as it prints pretty bad. For conceal - ability and comfort I prefer my 1911. Thing is you need to be proficient with whatever you get. I'd try out some different guns and see what I liked to shoot the best.
