Dropped off the car for some subframes, rack and pinion, and lt headers today, ill try to post up a vid when i get it back.

Yesterday I wanted to move the Subaru, so I put the key in it to unlock the steering and just for fun gave it a twist.

It started right up, ran smooth and idled nice.

Of course it doesn't have any water in it, so that had to have gone somewhere, and since I didn't see any puddles and there isn't any slick residue all over the engine compartment my guess is it went down the tailpipe (new O2 sensors, yay).

I'll take it apart this weekend to assess the damage, but at least I know the valves are good.

I bought a hood strut kit from AM and hope to install it this weekend. They are calling for highs in the 60s which is perfect Carolina wrenching weather.

Too bad it's not an in line 4. Boxer engines are pretty cool until you have to do head work. Though these days it seems you have to pull the engine to do anything beyond changing the oil. While you're at it, you should drop the k member!
