They don't put heater valves on those do they? Could be isolating the heater core until warm up or the heat is turned on? Stuck thermostat, eroded water pump, even a broken fan clutch/electric fan could do it. I'm guessing you've replaced all of those recently though.
They say no heater valves, but it's funny that the problem only exists when the heater is on. ? New water pump and thermostat when the head gaskets were replaced in June and both fans come on when the AC is turned on. Anyway there is a specific process to fill the system that we did not do last time, hopefully following it will fix the issue. We got a lot of air out of it yesterday, now it is sitting for 24 hours until this afternoon to let any more air come to the top. Since we got a lot of air out of it I'm pretty confident that's it. We did drop the exhaust to check though, no water in the exhaust so that's good, that tells me it isn't head gaskets again. No water in the oil, either.
You would have to order it. From what I understand the raptor and the 3.5 ecoboost like the one I ordered have some kind of hold on them and they aren't shipping them yet.
They aren't shipping them, correct. There are some available though. Have my Ford guy working on it, but it does sound like ordering is the way to go at this point.
I'd be willing to sell a kidney, a ******** and/or a part of my liver to get a 2017 Raptor. Or a GT350R. If anyone knows of someone looking for black market body parts, please pass along my info. Lol.
