Not bad numbers at all. Plus the roush tune is MEGA conservative, so if you want to turn up the wick it will be pretty easy. I couldn't make out the air fuel reading on my phone, but its probably different because they use a tail pipe sensor and they usually read a couple of points lean compared to one in the manifold

11.25-11.5 is good for a boosted setup. Mine is tuned to 11.7 on my Shelby.

Thanks guys!! I was thinking that something might have been wrong with his a/f sniffer.... my gauge is reading directly from the o2's.

I couldn't make it out on the video, what DID his A/F reading show??

BTW, have you seen the last two months issues of MM&FF? They did a write up on the Roush blower... installed it on a 5.0 Auto and took it to the track. With a Lund tune and drag radials they managed 10.80 or 10.90s @ appx 130 on drag radials. Pretty bad *** for just bolting on a blower.

Here is the Graph...not sure the actual number but the graph goes to 10.0 and it pegged it out!!!

As for the power numbers Im happy...there was a stock 2012 GT500 there that put out 451hp right after me. He was a little upset, and I was happy. If you remember correctly my debate was ROUSHcharger vs GT500.

I think something may be wrong with his A/F gauge, because pegging out 10.0 on the A/F would make it so rich I would be surprised if it would even idle lol. Around 11.5 or so would be where I would expect it to be, and thats about what you said your factory sensor was showing.

A totally stock (pre-2013) GT500 would have a hard time with a 5.0 with the Roush blower. The 5.0 will make more power and is lighter, so it will be faster just about everytime. For the Shelby to make up the difference it would need a pulley/tune at least... maybe a touch more. The Roush blower is basically the same 2.3L Eaton that is on my car, just not ported quite much.... so if the guy that owned that Shelby at the dyno had a clue, he should have know how it was going to turn out lol.

I had even toyed around with the idea of finding a used 5.0 auto and putting VMP TVS kit on it. With the blower, headers, and aggressive tune, they are running high 9s. Not too shabby!!!
