Going for my first time. Driving my 05 up from Florida and will be there from Wednesday until saturday. Bringing my roommate brother and dad along. Anyone know of any good hotels that are still available (preferably under $140 or so per night?) I really wanna do the Fun Runs at the speedway and Test and Tune runs at Darlington. Anyone have any tips for a first time MW'er? Or tips for a first time runner at a drag strip?

Just booked three nights at the Red Roof Inn in Myrtle Beach. I am excited.

The track is a lot of fun, I went last year and stayed till bout 7, got 6 runs in, could have easily gotten more. Bring a lot of water and some chairs, bleachers arent that comfortable. Also go get a gopro camera if you don't have one already.

Right on! It's a great time. Make sure you stop in at the Hypermotive Performance tent. Would be great to meet up. We'll be there the whole week.
