The government has gotten out of control. What is interesting is the members of congress do not have to follow the rules. Work your first term and get retirement. Dang took me 30 years to get that.

That's right Larry. We are working 30+ years so they can enjoy their leisurely government jobs with huge benefits.

Biggest complaint I have with my company is they changed insurance providers from Cigna to Blue Cross Blue Shield. My premiums went up, and my deductible skyrocketed to $8,000 for my kids and I. Absolutely ridiculous. How the hell will I ever meet that? In addition, unlike before, now my prescription benefits are linked to my medical plan deductible. So until that $8,000 is met I essentially have zero Rx insurance either. What a joke. I'm strongly considering consulting with an attorney in the September timeframe to review my options. I renew/change/edit plan choices every year in November.

I hear you. By the time I pay my premium and meet my deductible in out like $20k! I could almost justify self insuring for that.
