Not sure if this has already been discussed at any length but I couldn't find anything but attending other meet-ups.

So I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in starting a central to most meet-up. I think if we had a group that met separately from the existing meet-ups we could better organize our presence.

With that said, looking at the roster, the bulk of our members are from the greater Raleigh-Fayetteville area. Central to those two cities is Sanford and Lillington.

Seeing as 401,421,27, and 210 all converge to cross the Cape Fear in Lillington, I was thinking we could hold something there.

My thought is to supplement the existing meets with our own.

If this has been tried and failed then disregard, but I think it could work.

Are you trying to start a sub-carolina group? Or just a one time gtg?

no, just trying to get everyone together is all. 90% of us are within the Charlotte-Raleigh-Fayetteville triangle so I figured we should start meeting.

Basically, just trying to clubbify the group. Get some organization ya know?

Guess I didn't go far enough down that list haha. didn't mean to leave you SC'ers out. I think it would be awesome to have an organized cruise to MB, Asheville, Charleston, etc. What do y'all think?

I feel like I'm actually one of the only ones from Raleigh, oddly enough. A few are around the area but I can't recall who else is actually in Raleigh. I know a few guys are in Cary though.

Yea I haven't looked into the activity of the members on the list but according to that we have like 40 in our general area.

Anyways though, the season is coming to a close. I'm planning on visiting a stangs-r-us meet next Friday and thought we could start something just for attending meets and making our own. Not necessarily a club in itself but we all meet each other and park next to each other and what not.

Basically, I was a member of another forum and we had a California sub-forum and we'd all go to meets and events and then post about it and then say "man. I didn't see you, where we're you parked?" Etc.

We do that every month during the summer at the Lenoir cruise in. I'm all about get togethers when i'm not working.

I just think if we had something small, organized by us, we could have a better presence.

ie. if everyone in the area shows up to a Carolina MF'ers meet up, then when the Fayetteville guys go to Cary, lenoir to Fayetteville, etc they would have something to look for.

I would go to the Coffee and Cars cruise-ins if I met up with someone, had a friend with me, or knew there was going to be a group to hang with.
