Does anyone have any experience with Plasti dip I'm deciding on getting matte black for my wheels and badges, but I can't quite decide if I want to get Gloss Black

Easy stuff, mask it off, spray it on, but make sure to take off any tape on the edges of the paint before it dries, or else it will just peel up on the edges.

Sounds like a project one sat. I want to do mine too but can't find my jack stands to take all my wheels off. Don't want a lot of over spray on everything and want my whole rim painted.

My stripes and wheels are done with Plastidip. They have been on right at a year.

Took a lot of time but the wheels turned out nice. This is with the front one done and the rear still stock.

Holy crap I think I know what I'm doing this weekend! Did you ever remove the stripes? Did it leave sticky stuff behind?

I removed the double stripe and went with the super snake style. It has been on for a year along with plastidip on the wheels.
It came off perfectly clean with no residue or anything.

Plasti Dip is awesome stuff. I recommend it. I used it to black out the deck lid on my 99 GT like the Mach 1. Turned out great. I got a little over spary under the deck lid, and once it dried, peeled it right off.

I used it on my wheels. Pretty simple to use and take care of. My only fear if you were doing stripes as DK did, would be whether or not the paint underneath the stripes, if you left them on for a while and parked outside (or even just under the sun for lengths of time), would fade differently than the un-treated paint around it so that even if you took it off you would have ghost stripes.

But for wheels and the like, it's perfect, especially with all the new colors they have now. I have a set of True Metallic ready to go for mine once I get home. Gives it a gunmetal looking finish.

I thought about that and when I first started messing with it I was using it to decide what style of stripe I wanted. I tried a couple of different styles before settling on what I have now. I figure that if it does fade I will just get some vinyl stripes or have some stripes painted on.
The car is garaged most of the time so I doubt it would have faded much if any in the year and a half.
I've thought about the Gunmetal Gray for the wheels instead of black. Might try that this spring sometime/
