Porsche by Design - NCMOA Exhibit (Pic Heavy)
On Saturday we went to the NC Museum of Art exhibit, Porsche by Design - Seducing Speed. It was an opportunity to see some incredible cars, one of a kinds, prototypes, unrestored race cars. Three of the cars were from the Porsche museum in Stuttgart and many of them are from a private collection in Durham. It was a great exhibit, and a nice look at an iconic brand.
The exhibit will be "hoods up" on the 24-27, it would be cool to go back. It ends on February 2nd.
Type 64 Berlin Rom racer - 1938
356 from 1949

1971 917 as it raced, unrestored
1977 935 "The Baby" 380 HP and 1700 pounds
