Geeze...some people...
An update on Justin. Surgery went well and they thing that they got the entire tumor removed. They didn't have to do a spinal fusion as the tumor was contained enough that they just had to shave off a small bit of the bone (not enough to need screws and plates to be structurally sound).
The bad news is that it was cancerous, and it is a rare form of cancer called PNET. It required extensive chemo, and Justin starts in the next two weeks and it will go on for 12 to 18 months. They've run some more tests and it still appears like it hasn't spread, so hopefully that raises the chances of success.
Continued thoughts for him would be appreciated I'm sure.
