My son goes in tomorrow for surgery on his left eye, to say my wife and I are nervous is an understatement. He was diagnosed with Strabismus and they have to go in his eye and adjust his eye muscles to fix it. I know NC has some of the best Dr's in the world and it seems to be a common surgery in children but it still makes me nervous.
I appreciated the thoughts and prayers when my father was going through his cancer and looking forward to them again.
Zodiac...been there, I had it done when I was a kid...pretty routine nowadays.. I turned out somewhat normal . Prayers to you and yours during this stressful time.

Now I'm more concerned lol. From what Dr said yeah was a pretty routine surgery. Feel bad for the little guy though. I hope he's not in too much pain afterwards.
I was around 5 when I had it done and I don't recall being in pain...I don't remember very much of it except for having these metal cups over my eyes with holes in them to limit light access for the first day. It was hard watching cartoon through those little holes

Yeah my son just turned 5 so same age. I bought him a pirate hat and sword for when he wears his patch. Y'know to boost his confidence and have some fun with it.
