Default NEED OPINIONS

Hey I need some opinions I'm thinking of doing twin turbo on my 03 V6 this summer and I'm wondering what kind of horsepower it'll put out or I'm thinking trading my V6 for a GT or Corba ( cobra unlikely ) but GT but the only problem trading is all the stuff i've already put on and into the car need opinions on what I should do

My vote would be to trade in for a Mach 1. You can find great deals on them if you're patient and you get more out of that setup than a 2v. You'd likely be spending a lot of money on a TT build for the V6 when you can use that money for a down payment on a 4V and have more potential down the road.

+1000 w/BakerJD

You're better off finding a 4 valve Mach 1 or Cobra.
Unless you do something to beef up the internals on that motor and spend $$$ on supporting mods, TT on a V6 would be like burning the wick on both ends of the candle.

Save some $$ and find a 4-valve you can beef up, you'll be much happier

Yes.....Looks like you are wanting power. Upgrade to a 4v v8.

I Think I have made my decision but the only problem is my car isn't fully paid yet and I want to start working on this summer and It won't be paid off by then.

Before you even do anything to your car, figure out what your goals are and what you want to do with the car. As always the GT platform is going to be a better place to start, and the V6 with a twin turbo will be underwhelming for the money you sink into it, especially since you will have to beef up the transmission and motor to handle it. There are also some faster cars for the same price or cheaper that are good to look at as well, unless you only want a Mustang then that's understandable as well.

Have you considered a 3.7 v6? They are less expensive than the GT and with a pro charger can get 500 HP.
305 HP is the starting point and you are already ahead of the 4.6. Just something to consider.

The only 4.6 the 3.7 can outrun stock is the 2v. 3V is .5 quicker and the 4V is about the same.

Eh....You can find a new 14 V6 for around 20ish thats brand new and not buying other peoples problems. That and you'll have a 6 speed.

The mach is ok...but that 6 speed trans is what sold me on buying a new 6 compared to the older 4.6's....so bang for buck goes to the 3.7 IMHO.

I absolutely agree with that. Just had to do a lot of correcting these past few days with 3.7 guys lol
