Default Alternative Mach 1 Grille Delete

I saw a post on a Mustang group that a guy had taken out his honeycomb grille and only had the pony. I believe he said he didn't buy anything to do it. Is this possible? If so how can I do it.

There has to be a bracket of some sort to hold the Pony whether you buy it or fab one.

doesn't AM have the chin and grill delete pretty cheap? Plus the Forum discount...
