FWIW, i enjoying using this combo:
Surf city garage Pacific Blue wash
Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax
Surf City Garage Speed Demon Wax Detailer
The surface of the car doesnt feel like..a car. it feels so soft and silky smooth kinda weird. but this combo never fails with shine, depth, smoothness, and overall amazingness. plus it smells good

This new stuff I found called HD Poxy, it's a hybrid wax/sealer. I love it.
I also just picked up some HD Express spray wax. It's my new addiction. LOL.
Both of those are made by 3d products. http://www.3dproducts.com/
I buy them from autoality and they're really reasonably priced.
And my trusty DA polisher with Lake country flat pads.

Another question more for the northern guys.
I'm gonna go over the jeep for probably the first time ever with a polisher. I know I have a lot of scratches and nicks but my main concern is on the hood. I think what happened is that it got a lot of rock chips, and then during the winter water got in the chip and froze, making a little bubble in the paint. Am I screwed on this? I don't mind painting but If I'm gonna do that I'll need to get the right equipment instead of rattle can it since it would be a much larger area.

Wash it with Dawn dishsoap.
Claybar it
Then go at it with the cutting pads and the 105
I usually spritz the pad with some quick detailer to help prolong the work time of the compound. Not soak it but just get it damp.
Then move on to the polishing pad and the 205
and see what you've got.
Then a coat of the HDpoxy. I let that dry for about 30 minutes before I take it off.
